The Houston Grand Criterium...The Ultimate Urban Race is now in its sixth year.  This unique event will take place in the nation's fourth largest city along the backdrop of Houston's distinctive downtown skyline.  The event will feature multiple sanctioned races designed for juniors, women, enthusiasts and professionals.  But these aren't the only ones who can race - Bring the kids for a crit of their own.  Kids will race in one of 2 groups, either 7 & under or 12 & under.

Whether you're a rider or a spectator, this is one race you won't want to miss...a great venue for spectators to watch the best Cyclists in the State of Texas go head-to-head! Grab your friends and family, bring the kids and their bikes, as Houston's only Texas Premier Cup Race takes place; all right here circling through the streets of Houston!  The race course will be along Allen Parkway adjacent to Buffalo Bayou, a common recreation destination for thousands of walkers, runners and cyclists daily. The Start/Finish and Expo will be located in Sam Houston Park, where plenty of food, drink and fun will be going on all day!
